Heads and Tails


If an only man is studious and calms, they say people
  He is of ache humor, he witnesses old his/her duration;
If he is frivolous and frivolous, if him cram the way of primrose,

If a man but bats his/her consort oh-so-softly on the head,
  If him the throat a few round the neck,
He is a beast;  if he is instead thoughtfully conjugal,
 Each calls him/it the Mr. Henry Peck.

It lowers Scylla--it knits the eyelashes Charybdis--and the barking is to like to sink--
  This the moral symbolistic of my rhyme--
If Opinion repairs Your sails and if You care that people think
  You will have a more unhappy kind of time.
