AUTHOR'S PREFACE.





If the wish of reader but it pays attention what I have written in this
great job, that me it will be found I have taken an unwarrantable
the liberty with his/her good taste;  that is to say, I have diverted till now
from that stereotyped rule-so it severely observed from ours great
author-as to make my hero that is what curiously enough has called a
"Yankee character", you tolerably speak good English, instead of vulgar
slang. In truth, so that near face the "our great writers" they stick to this
rule to paint the eccentric American as a thin, scraggy
individual, it dressed more exotically, while making splinters of the
king's English, while talking him/it in goslow mode to nasal and offensive sounds, and
violating the rules of the common gentleness in anything him ago, that
when he goes to the foreign countries the foreigner it is amazed to find him/it a
well it tolerably smoothed gentleman, and indeed not the unfrequently
he/she asks that part of our country those thin people that he has seen
described in the books of American authors resides in.

You leave then that this preface is enough, for if some one of mine many readers
you think that he can write a best--and I don't doubt that he power-left him put
around him, and it doesn't stop him until him it precisely reaches him his/her desire. But
