PREFACE.

In to introduce this job to the public, we am completely aware of the
serious positions to misrepresent society, and misunderstanding facts,
what you/they will be done a lot by our friends of the South and his/her
particular institution; but we sincerely command such all champions
of "things as them are", to read and well the abridged edition what has put here
in front of them, believing that they will also find the Truth "extraneous
what a the fiction." And, as an incentive to the noble exercises of those,
northerly or South that you/they would free our country of his more "dark,
more bump", we would say, that our attempt has been to give a
the true portrait of Southern society in its launchings waits, and that,
in our judgment, the institution of Slavery is directly chargeable
with the various moral, social and political evils detailed in Ours
WORLD.
