A HEALTHY STRENGTH


"During the months in spring an epidemic of diphtheria and other
infectious illnesses visited a district of nine or ten villages in
New Mexico. Many children succumbed to these illnesses the number,
of those that died being approximately a tenth of the whole population
of the district.
