IX. CABARET
We soothe together and we speak, or it smokes in silence.
You say (but it doesn't use words) 'this night is passing

When suddenly we have had too much of laughter:
And a calm ice cream falls, any word to say.
Our mouths are felt foolish. . . For every day in expectancy

Putting in a position likes bald monkeys of forehead to a mirror;

When suddenly every distempered, empty, ugly,

But this is momentary. . . otherwise, bearing,
Leads You with indirect eyes through fogs and poisons
To horrible chaos, or he commits suicide, or crime. . .
And all these others that to Your conjuration
Grows pale, while feeling the skeletal touch of time,--
Or, sadly laughing, you speak of things important,
Or fixed mirrors, frightened to see their faces,
Or he/she drowns in the vacuum cleaner of waveless of their days,--
Suddenly, as from sleep, he wakes up, while forgetting
This nauseating dream; takes on their accustomed ways,
You exhume the ghost of a joke, renovations strong laughter,
You forget the moles above of the eyebrows of theirs beautiful,
You tilts to the music increase,,
