Capitolo 57

wants to say from those words ` left' and ` the right.' I suppose that it is Your way
of motto Toward north and Toward south."

"Not so", he/she answered me; "besides Your motion than Toward north and Toward south,
there is another motion that I call to the left from right."

King. Exhibits to me, if You please, this motion from it went away to straighten.

ME. No, that I cannot do, unless you could go out together of Your Line.

King. Out of my Line? Does he/she want to say out some world? Out of Space?

ME. Well, yes. Out of Your world. Out of Your Space. For Your
I space it is not the true Space. The true Space is an Airplane; but Your
Space is only a Line.

King. If you cannot point out this motion from it went away to straighten alone
moving himself/herself/itself in him, then I implore Him to describe him/it to me in words.

ME. If you cannot say Your side corrected by Your left, I fear
what anybody the words of mine can make my clearer meaning to You.
But certainly you cannot be ignorant of so simple a distinction.

King. I don't do in the least one understands her.

ME. Alas! How will I do him/it clear? When you move right on,
it doesn't sometimes do him/it it happens to you that you could stir in of the other way,
turning Your circle of eye as to look in the direction toward that Your
is side now fronting? In the other words, instead of always stirring
in the direction of one of Your extremities, never does you it feels
a desire to stir in the direction, so to speak, of Your side?

King. Never. And does thing intend? As a man in "forehead"
in some direction? Or as you/he/she can stir in him the direction of his in a man?

ME. Well then, since words cannot explain the matter, I will try actions,
and it will gradually stir out of Lineland in the direction that I desire
to point out to you.

To the word I started to transport out my body of Lineland. As from a lot
as some part of me remained in his/her dominion and in his/her sight the King,
continued to exclaim, "I see her, me he/she anchors I see her; You is not moving himself/herself/itself."
