more faithfully and well", the Fairy said, as she looked in the
the bright face of happy child, and it placed more softly his/her small arm
on his/her neck.

"And I have now brought another Fairy-earth gift as an appropriate reward
for You, the dear child", she said, when Annie had said all of his/her gratitude
and love;  then, touching his/her child with his/her bright wand, the Fairy
silently offers his/her glance and listening.

And suddenly the seemed world changed to Annie;  for the air you/he/she was filled
with strange sounds, sweets and all around her they were floating the beautiful forms.
In every flower smiling Elves sat few, while singing gayly as them they cradled
among the leaves.  On every breeze, the bright ones, airy spirits came being floating
from;  some ventilated his/her cheek with their fresh breath, and it waved her/it long
hair before and back, while others encircled the flower-bells, and it did a
rustling pleasant among the leaves.  In the fountain, where the water
danced and it shone in the sun, astride of every drop she saw happy
small spirits that the plashed and it was floating in the clear, so that fresh one and
sung as gayly as the flowers, on who they sprinkled the bright dew.
The tall trees, as their branches rustled in the wind, it sang a minimum,
dreamy song, while the undulant grass was filled with few it expresses
she had not felt before never.  Butterflies talked to low voice the beautiful histories in
his/her ear, and birds sang happy songs in a sweet language that she had
it ever understood before.  Earth and air seemed full with beauty
and with music she didn't now have never dreamed than up to that.

"Or tells me what wants to say the dear Fairy! it is it another and a lovelier
dreams, or is earth in truth so beautiful as this?" she cried,
looking with asking himself/herself/itself the joy on the Elf that placed on the flower
in his/her breast.

"Yes, it is the truth, dear child", the Fairy answered, "and few I am the
mortals to whom we give this beautiful gift;  what to You now it is so full
of music and of light, to others it is but a world in pleasant summer;
