white snow in Winter fell down slightly; he/she now anchors, when all without it looked
dark and dark, on the breast of small Annie the delicate flower bloomed
more beautiful than never. The memory of its dream of forest never had
passed away, and through test and the temptation she had been true, and

around her or the delicate light to make every whereon it fell.
Then, through the long one, cold Winter, the small Annie dwelt as a sunbeam
in his/her house, every day growing richer in the love of others, and
happier in her; it was often her it tried, but, remembering his/her dream,
she only listened to the music of the delicate bell and the discourteous one
thought or feeling ran away away, the smiling spirits of the gentleness
and love nested in its heart, and all were bright again.
So best and happier it grew his/her child, more equitable and more dessert grew the
blooms, up to Spring it came smiling on the earth, and it woke up the flowers,
you free the brooks, and it gave again the welcome one the birds; then daily it did
the happy child sits among his/her flowers, while passionately desiring the kind Elf

gift had done.
For a long time, one day, as she sat, while singing in the nook exposed to the sun where
all of its more equitable flowers bloomed, tired with looking fixed to the far-by sky
for the small form she hoped it would come, she bent to seem with cheerful
you love on his/her flower of breast; and as her it looked, his/her folded up leaves
separately scatters wide, and, slowly rising from the white and deep cup,
appeared the smiling face of the beautiful Elf which her coming had
expected for so long.
