  Night came again, and the fire-flies flew;
  But the gem allowed them to pass, and he/she drank some dew;
  While the soft stars shone, from the anchor you spend the summer sky,
  On the small happy flower that had learned the lesson given.


The music-loving Elves clapped the hands, as it stopped Stella-sparkling;
and the Regina put a floral crown, with a kind smile on the
The head of fairy, saying,--

"The lesson of the small gem will teach us as sad it is the pride a thing,
and that humility can bring the true happiness to bloom alone and Fairy.
You will come following, Zephyr."

And the small Fairy that placed cradling before and back to the a flutters
life-leaf, so its history started:--

"As I placed remaining in the breast in a fragrant spring that has turned above of the brook,
a small wind, tired of play, this history told me of



LILY-BELL È THISTLEDOWN.


Once on once, two small you Do they went out to the world, to
you seek their fortune.  Thistledown was as cheerful and he/she courts a small Elf
how come spreads a wing.  His/her reddens mantle and doublet of green, it was
embroidered with the brightest threads and the pen in his/her beret
always come by the wing of the most cheerful butterfly.

But he was not beloved in Fairy-earth, for, as the flower which
name and colors that he has brought, although equitable many were to look on, the
small thorns of the cruelty and the egoism that disposition has concealed from his
cheerful mantle.  A lot of one kind flower and harmless bird it died from his/her hand,
for him it worried alone him about him, and anything gave him/it to like it owes
both his, although happy hearts were made sad, and peaceful houses
destroyed.

Man was Thistledown;  but far different it was his/her small friend,
Lily-bell.  Kind, compassions, and loving, wherever his/her kind face
you/he/she was seen, the joy and the gratitude were found;  any flower of suffering or bug,
that didn't love and it blessed the kind Fairy;  and so every Elf-earth
reputes her/it as a friend.

Neither this did her/it vain and careless of others;  her humbly the dwelt
