Capitolo 34
And it folded up more from near still the fire-fly;
You cultivate the bug in struggle it lacerated opened the vest
Of you redden and green that has covered his/her breast.
When the sun came on, she saw with pain
The flourishing one of his/her leaf of gem of leaf sister.
While her, once as fair and diamond as the rest,
Hung down his/her tired head on his/her wounded breast.
Diamond grew the light of the sun and the air in soft summer
You/he/she was filled with the music of flowers that you/they sing there;
But faint grew the small gem with silk and the pain,
And it passionately desired the fresh dew; but now 't was in vain.
Then bitterly she cried for his/her folly and the pride,
As bending himself/herself/itself she was next to the side of his/her equitable sister.
Then the mother of rose the small tired head tilted him
On his/her breast to remain, and softly she said:
"The hast of Thon they learned, my small gem that, anything is able betide,
You cansts win thyself any joy from passion or from pride.
The loving Father sends the light of the sun and the shower,
What you become mayst a small perfect flower;--
The sweet dews for food thee, the soft wind to console,
And the earth as a pleasant house, while you art that indulges here.
Then the shouldst you are not thankful for this whole kind care,
And does it strive him of tender more innocent and equitable thyself?
Then you look for, my small flower, to win the humility;
Is equitable without, is pure among, and you fade happy is.
Then when the calm autumn of thy fragrant life will come,
You maysts pass away, to bloom in the house of the Floral Spirits."
Then from the breast of his/her/their mother, where it anchors disposition it hid,
In the gem of evanescence the dew-drop softly slipped;
Stronger it grew the small form and happy skin of torn wounds,
As the dew did its silent job, and the gem grew well,
While the kind rose tilted him with maternal pride,,
O'er the equitable small one that are in bloom to his/her side.
