shone down warmly on the dewy grass, where expansion of butterflies
their cheerful wings and bees with their voices deep cantatas
among the flowers; while the small birds happily excited around
to peer at to them.
On a silvery mushroom the breakfast was shed; few agglomerates
of flower-dust's disposition on a green and wide leaf, nearby to a crimson
strawberry that, with sugar from the violet and cream
from the yellow milkweed, it made a delicate meal, and their drink was
the dew from the bright leaves of the flowers.
"Ah me", sighed Primrose, throwing back languidly himself/herself/itself,
"how heat grows the sun! give me another piece of strawberry,
and then I have to expedite me street to the shade of the ferns. But
while I eat, does it tell me, the dear Violet because it is everything so sad?
I have scarce seen a happy face since my return from Rose Terra;
dear friend, what intends him?"
"I will tell him", small answered Violet, the gathering of torn wounds
in his/her soft eyes. "Our good Regina is ever striving himself/herself/itself to hold
the dear flowers from the power of the cruel Cold-king; many ways
she tried, but all have failed. You has sent messengers to his/her court
with expensive gifts; but all are returned ill for lack of light of the sun,
tired and sad; we have looked us at them on, careless of sun or shower,
but he/she anchors his/her dark spirits they do their job, and we have gone away to cry
on our damaged flowers. This way we am striven there, and in vain;
and this night our Regina holds suggestion for the last time. Therefore
it is us sad Primrose, dear, for her you/he/she is tired and you/he/she is worried about us,
and we cannot do anything to help or now to recommend her/it."
"It is indeed a cruel thing", his/her friend answered; "but as us we are not able
help him, we have to patiently suffer, and it didn't do the pains of others
