the similarity of words, according to the preceding examples,
there is some kind of intelligence in which it consists partly the
similarity of the ideas and partly in the similarity of words that
for cause of distinction I will call the mixed intelligence.  Some kind of the intelligence is
what that it abounds in Cowley more than in some author that never
writing.  The Mr. Waller likewise has very it.  The Mr. Dryden is
very saving in him.  A lot of Milton had a genius above of him.  Spenser is
in the same class with Milton.  Italians, also in their epic poem
poetry, is full of him.  Monsieur Boileau on that it was formed
the ancient poets, have refused everywhere him with contempt.  If us
you look after the mixed intelligence among the Greek writers, we will find him/it to us
in any place but in the epigrammatists.  They are indeed there of the hits of
it in the small poem attributed to Musaeus that from that as
many other marks betray him/it to be a modern composition.  If us
you look in the Latin writers we don't find none of this mixed intelligence in
Virgil, Lucretius or Catullus;  very little in Horace but a great
quantity of him in Ovid and scarce anything other in Martial.

Out of the innumerable branches of the mixed intelligence, I will choose one
example that can be satisfied with all the writers of this class.
You has thought that the passion of love in its nature resembles to fire,,
for that the reason the words "they shoot" and "flame" you/he/she has used than to
you mean love.  The witty poets, therefore you/they have taken an advantage,
from the doubtful meaning of the "fire" of word, to do an endless
number of the keenness.  Cowley that observes him the cold respect of his
owner's eyes, and to the same duration the power of manufacturing love in
he, considers them as that burn-glasses made of ice;  and, finding
him able to live in the greatest extremities of love, it concludes
the torrid zone to be habitable.  When his/her owner has read his
letter written in juice of lemon, holding him/it to the fire him
