Bound to Rise

Horatio Alger

Capitolo 76

"Where is Luke Harrison?" Frank Heath asked.

"Didn't it go with you out?"

"Yes; but he left a long time ago me some. Did he/she return here, didn't it do him?"

"No; he has not been since then here."

"He spoke to come", said Harry. "He wanted me to connect that
party that goes to sleigh."

"Good night, boys" says the merchant, meaningfully.

They took the suggestion and they went out. Their way placed in different
directions, and they divided society.

"I now have to call on Luke", Harry was said.

"I hope that he found the notebook. He would not be bad enough to
hold him/it."

But he was not rather so sure of this as you/he/she would have appreciated to have been.
He felt him almost ill as he thought about the possibility that he was able
you never recover the money that he had saved so gladly, although with
so painful economy. It represented the cash and whole earningses of
eleven weeks.

Luke Harrison boarded with a Mr. Glenham, a carpenter, and it was
to his/her door that Harry has knocked.

"Is Luke Harrison at home?" he asked of Mrs. Glenham that opened
the door.

"To house and in bed, I calculate", she responded.

"I know that it is late, her Mrs. Glenham, but it is on a matter of
importance that I desire to see Luke."

"Me calculation is on the party that goes to sleigh."

"No, it is completely another thing. I won't be but minute."

"Well, I suppose that you can climb."

Harry went above and knocked. Luke would ordinarily, have been
for generally him to sleep five minutes after his/her head sank dormant,
touched the pillow; but to-night his/her cheat's excitement
intention held him/it awake, and he uncomfortably started when he felt
the knock.

"Who is there?" he called out of the bed.

"It is me--Harry Walton."

"Him that notebook has needed", thought Luke.

"I am in bed", he responded.

"I want to see her/it one minute, on a matter of the importance."

"Comes to morning of to-tomorrow."

"I now have to see her/it."

"Oh, well it enters, if you owe", said Luke.
