Grand'ther Baldwin's Thanksgiving with Other Ballads and Poems

Horatio Alger

Capitolo 18

I can see, through the cracks of the apple-branches,
The blue delicate of the sky,
And the change clouds him with their shades of marvellous
  That motorbikes so lazily from.
It is strange thoughts, sweets sing through my brain,
  It is Sky, it the seemeth nearby;
Oh, it is not it rare once, sweet,
The time that blooms some year?

YOU SPEND THE SUMMER TIMES.

It is the tall midday of the year,
The earth produced of incense sweets,
And o'er the coolness, green fields
Curves the clear sky of June.

I leave the crowded roads,
The muttering of the busy life,
  His/her clamor and his/her conflict,
To breathe thy perfumed sweets.

Or rare and gilded times!
The melodious song of the bird,
  Wavelike, is borne long
On a beach of flowers.

I wander far street,
Where, through the trees of forest,
Sport the breeze in fresh summer,
In wild and playful play.

A patriarchal elm
His/her grandiose uprears of the form,
  What twice one hundred years
You/he/she has dominated this wooded kingdom.

I sit under of his/her shade,
And it looks, with happy-go-lucky eye,
The brook that the stammerings from,
And it cools the leafy clearing.

In truth I don't wonder me,
  What of ancient days
The times of the encomium of God
It was grove and leafy grot.

The more noble ever planned,
  With equipment characteristic and rare,
From man, you can sick comparison
With these from his/her own hand of God.

Wandering with way-used feet,
Who, treading the dull circle of life,
Any true hasts of the rest founded,
Comes to this green retreat.

For bird, and it blooms, and tree,
You live green, and terrestrial woody wild,
It will be born, with bawls mild,
Sweet communications to thee.

JUNE.

Throws you open wide Your gilded gates,
  Or poet-land month of June,
And it spreads me on Your drugged breath,,
The melody of birds in motive.

Or three more equitable building,
Where the Regina summer holdeth hesitation,
I look fixed on Your leafy courts
From out the hallway of May.

Me fains would tread Your walks garden,
