The sad sound of children to cry broke the silence of the
death-room. Edward anchors you/he/she knelt, and Rose was arched with pain;  but
the brave voice of the old Commodore played as if the wrung from the
depth of his/her seriously-stricken heart:

"The God gave, and the God--its language failed him, but after a
momentary struggle he continued in trembling tones--"and God's taketh
street. _Blessed_--"

Him nobody could say more.

Certainly the benediction that, for suffocating hiccups, you/he/she could not find expression
on the earth, you/he/she was felt in sky, and he/she returned abundantly on the brave
and desolate spirit of him that who is striven to pronounce him/it.




I CAPITULATE II.

A CANADIAN FAMILY IS SUPERIOR.


Pino's Torri breakfast-room, in a diamond, exposed morning to the sun, some
three or four days after the death of his very-respected owner,
kept a great contest of the worthy one of note of York and other privacy and
the official smaller nobility of the Province. They had come to take part on the,
preceding day, in the obsequieses funeral;  and now it was, after a night

present has paid the debt of nature. Now fact to keep silent as it is their voices,
the breakfast-room of Macleod, in the morning that we have pointed out, it was a
perfect babel of noise. The solemn parade of the preceding day, and
the sacred pains of those that the surly Enemy had done desolate,
seemed to the moment to have been forgotten by the crowd that part;
and for once the young master of Pino Torri, as he offered goodbye to
the guests of his/her father, testified to a scene in acute contrast to yesterday
