SIEGFRIED MENDS HIS/HER FATHER'S SWORD
Siegfried looked at the sword.
Giving then again it to Mimes, he said:--
"Arrange him for me, Mime! Arrange him! Now is Your opportunity to feel Your ability!"
"I am not able! Oh, I am not able!" Mimes groaned; and he gasped out the rest of
what the voice had told him:--
"Only he who know that any fear can arrange the sword."
Siegfried brought the broken pieces to the forge and started to file them to
dust.
"You stops, Siegfried, stopped!" You mime weeping. "You will ruin that blade!"
But Siegfried continued to file.
He sang as he worked, until the pieces you/they were filed for dusting.
Then he melted the dust and it poured the warm liquid in a soil the form
of a blade.
When you/he/she had hardened, him the takings and it sharpened him.
Then he settled the blade to his/her hilt.
"Have! have!" Mimes snickered. "Finally the sword is settled.
"I will now show Siegfried the dragon. He won't know what a ring is in the
the cavern of dragon.
"When the dragon is dead, the ring will be Mimes.
"Mimes, you are not the small despised Nibelungs anymore. You are the king
of the earth."
Cheerfully Siegfried waved the bright blade above of his/her head.
He demolished him with all of his/her strength on the forge, and with a
mighty accident that the enormous stone has demolished in pieces.
Mimes it sank in terror to the earth.
SIEGFRIED GOES TO FIGHT AGAINST THE DRAGON
"You wakes up, You the coward!" Cried Siegfried.
"It now tells me what is that thing that I don't know. Fear? Which fear is it?
Because it didn't teach me him?"
The bad dwarf slipped to the side of Siegfried.
"I will teach Him. Comes with me. I will show her a horrible snake,
lying to the door of Hate Cavern.
"There you will learn what fear is, if you can learn him/it some place in
this world.
"Anything has never seen Him that has done Him shiver from head to foot and
done make Your heartbeat fast?"
"I don't have" never, Siegfried calmly answered. "Quickly pick up me Mimes. I am
ready to learn."
