loving mother.

THE BROKEN SWORD

Mimes it faked to be always the father of Siegfried, and he faked to love
Siegfried.

But Siegfried knew there was no love in the heart of Mimes.

Daily Siegfried grew greater and stronger.

Mimes it continually boasted of his/her job to the forge.

He often said: "Nobody in this world can make so marvelous swords as
Mimes."

Siegfried exhorted him to make a sword after another, but fast as them
you/he/she was made the boy it would smash asunder them with a hit on the
dwarf's forge.

Then he would cry in disgust: "Nonsense, Mimes. Your swords are mere
toys. Only likes few it changes.

"A good strong sword manufactures me or ends to boast himself/herself/themselves."

Mimes it held the pieces of the sword of Siegmund always hidden attentively.
While Siegfried erred through the woods, the dwarf would work for times
trying to arrange the magic blade, but its hard steel would never produce
or to his/her fire or his/her hammer.

Mimes you/he/she was gotten tired and discouraged.

"I can never arrange him/it", he groaned.

A GREAT BROWN BEAR

Siegfried started to be a youth.

Often he saw his/her reflection in the water, and he said:--

"I am not the child of Mimes. His/her children in the forest every glance as them
parents. I don't seem Mimes."

The reflection of Siegfried showed him/it a face without fear with great, honest
eyes.

On the face a wealth of undulant hair, exposed to the sun it fell.

One day, as he studied this reflection and thought of the intermittent one,
small Mimes black that crawls, he said:--

"I won't bear his/her falsehoods anymore. I know that he is not my father.
This a lot of day I am going to make to tell him/it me I am who!"

Lifting his/her silver horn, he blew a strong gust.

Out in the woods one of his/her good friends, a great brown bear came.
