their approval how first you/he/she is gotten.
I CAPITULATE XIII.
THE I UNLOAD OF SEWERS OF OUTFALL MARITTIMI.
The head that governs the I unload of a pipe of maritime outfall it is
measured by the surface of the sewage in the reservoir, provides of sewers, or
reservoir to the head of the outfall to the level of the sea.
As sewage works away the level of its surface you/he/she has lowered,
and to the same duration that the level of the sea continually you/he/she is varying
as you increase him of tide and falls, so that the head is a variable
factor, and accordingly the percentage of unloading varies. A curve
of unloading can be drawn by the calculations second
these different conditions, but it is not necessary; and everybody
requisite will be satisfied if the unloadings under certain determined
conditions have verified. The most important condition,
because it is the worse one, it is that when the level of the sea is
to tall water of equinoctial spring tides and the reservoir it is
practically empty.
Maritime water has a specific gravity of 1.027, and you/he/she is usually taken
as weighing 64.14 lbs for cubic foot, while sewage can be taken
as weighing 62.45 lbs for cubic foot of which it is the weight
fresh water to his/her density of maximum. Now the relationship of weight
among sewage and water of sea it is as 1 to 1.027, so that a column
of thumbs of maritime l2 of water in height a column asks for coolness
you water 12.324, or says 12-1/3 in, to balance him/it; therefore, in
orders to verify the head real manufacturing unloading it
it will be necessary to add 1/3 in for every foot in depth of
the maritime water on the centre of the result.
The maritime outfalls should be of such diameter that the contents of
the reservoir can be voided of specified duration--says, three
