of his/her loss. We don't lose consignment of time in
to You the letter assigned to, and he/she remains,
with a lot of understanding, the Your respectfully,

                              WINSLOW & CO."

Mrs. Rushton listened to this letter with anxious and painful interest,
its hands hooked, and its eyes mended on Robert.

"Now reads the letter" of Your father, she said, in a low tone.

Robert explained the sheet, and its eyes filled with torn wounds as him you/he/she looked fixed
on the notorious writing of his/her/their father which loss that he had so long
complained. Also, this letter that we transcribe:

                             "November 7 th 1851.

MY DEAR WIFE IS MY CHILD: If these
lines Your eyes that I don't know will satisfy never.
If I will be permitted again to look on
Your dear faces, I am also ignorant. The good one
ship _Norman_ in which I sailed from Boston
not completely three months ago it is, it burned to the water
you sharpen, and me to find me, with five of the
sailors, afloat on the enormous sea to the mercy of
the elements, and with a limited provisioning of food.
Opportunities are never against our earth seeing.
In hundreds of miles street from some known
beaches, our only hope of the safety is in to attract
the attention of some vase. In the wide paths
of the ocean such opportunity is doubtful.
Fortunately I have some sheets of paper
and a pencil with me, and I write these
lines, knowing well as unlikely it is that
You will ever read them. Still it is a satisfaction
to do what I can leave knows her/it the
you position in that I am standing.

But for the vengeful one and the malignant disposition
of a man me he/she anchors I should be walking
the bridge of the _Norman_ as his/her captain.
But to my history: My first consort was a man
  Called Haley--Benjamin Haley--of who name
You will perhaps remember. He was born in
our district, or, to all the events, once he/she lived
there, being the nephew of old man Paul Nichols.
He was a wild youth, and it annoyed a bad reputation.
