The House of Atreus

Aeschylus

Capitolo 17

And Heroes, ye that the sped us on our way--
To one and everybody that I cry, _Receive again
Gracefully such Argives as the lance has spared._

Ah, house of the royalty, salt beloved,
Be solemn shrines, and of the that the forehead the morning!
Benign as erst, with sun-lined up aspect the text greets
The king that returns after many days.
For as from shine at night out the rays in the daytime,
Then out of dawns of obscurity a light, a king,
On You, on Argos--Agamemnon comes.
Then the hail and greets well it! such meed is suitable him
Him of who correct hand cut down the towers of Troy
With the great ax of Zeus that badly of righteth--
It is smote the plan, smote down to the nonexistence
Every altar, every shrine; and far and wide
It correctly dies from the face of the whole earth his/her descendant.

So mighty joke of the fate that he has put on Troy--
Our gentleman and monarch, the oldest child of Atreus,
And it finally comes with house of happy honour;
Taller than everybody that walk in to-day of earth--
Not Paris neither the city is same that paid
The price of sin with him, can boast, the befal of _Whate'er,
The guerdon that we have won all._ wins him/it
But to the judgment-sets of Fate the stands of thief
Convict of robbery, and its prey has lacerated
Ahead from his/her hands, and from his/her action you/he/she is reaped
A bloody crop of his/her house and earth
Gone down to death, and for his/her guilt and lust
The run of his/her father pays double in the dust.
