Capitolo 51
The shame of Persia and his/her cries of portion!
But he/she still renews the history, repeats words of thy,
Says to o'er the account of those Hellenic ships,
And as they was risked with bows provided of their beak
To debit on the Persian armament.
MESSENGER
Knows, if I count mere of ships you/he/she could win the day,
The Persians had prevailed. The Greek, in sooth,
It had but three hundred helmets at the most,
And other ten, selections and separate.
But--I am witness--Xerxes held command
Of floods thousand keels, and, those separately,
Two hundred more, and seven, for the speed famous!--
Then stands the calculation, and that it will challenge
Persians to say us had the smaller innkeeper?
ATOSSA
No, we was plotted combed by a power not seen
Who the descending equilibrium to our decree rippled!
MESSENGER
In custody of doth of sky the stand of city of Pallas.
ATOSSA
How then? Is Athens still inviolata?
MESSENGER
While his/her men live, his/her firm of standeth of rampart!
ATOSSA
Does say, as did the struggle of the ships start?
Who connected before problem? it made the Greek they attach,
Or Xerxes, in his/her numbers confident?
MESSENGER
Regina of Or, our whole disaster happened this way,
Through intervention of of the demon or the fate--
I don't know that that--that had the sick wish to us.
From the Athenian innkeeper of the Greek it came to o'er,
To thy I give birth Xerxes that talks to low voice this history--
_Once did at night the obscurity you/he/she has gathered in,
The Greek won't remain, but quickly spring
Each to his/her helmet-bench, in furtive flight,
The safety slightly contriving for their life_.
The child of Thy believed the word and failed the art
Of that foemen of Greek and the spite of Sky,
It is right to all of his/her captains this position it gave--
_As heats soon as light of the sun the earth anybody more,
And obscurity winds the sanctuary of sky,
Launchings us our fleet in lines of triple serried
To block the passage from the narrow one that boils,
