Capitolo 17
And that same taking of caution me here on earth,
And heap offers Him my words, writing them
On the tablets of memory. Here, I see far
Pouncings, herald without voice of an innkeeper, rises;
And he/she listens, inside their grinding ring boxes
Aces to expedite wheels! I see approach,
Borne in curved cars, going to all speed' drawn horses,
A pierced through ribbon and it screened. The heads, by chance,
Of this their earth is intention of hitherward
To look on us, they has still felt of whom
From messengers alone. But it comes who is able,
And he comes peaceful or in hungry anger
Spurred on his/her run, 'the twere better, in some case,
Damsels, to grab on to this I altar-bury
Done sacred to theirs of the of party,--
A shrine is stronger than a tower to save,
A shield that nobody can split. I pass rapid thereto,
It is in Your left hands holds with reverence
The wands white-crowned of suppliance the signal,
Beloved of Zeus, the gentleman of compassion, and he/she speaks
To those that question You, words mild and low
It is compassionate, as it is suitable him to Your stranger state,
Clearly admitting of this the flight of Your
The cause without blood; and on Your expression
Sees well to him that modesty you frequent;
From discouraged eyes, from eyebrows of pure control,
Does before glance of chastity; neither, when yes speak,
Is loquacious neither anxious--them that break
Inside this earth it is rapid austerely to scold.
And it is Your words subdued: keeps in mind of well this;
For weak ye it is, exiled on earths of extraneous,
And discourse of froward is not been suitable to hands of strengthless.
CHOIR
Or it produces, awarely to us aware
The words of Thy have spoken, and the wisdom of thy is best
My mind it is able I, with Zeus our sire to help.
DANAUS
Also so--with attractive aspect allows him to help.
CHOIR
Fain both me now to make to sit me from side of thy.
DANAUS
Doesn't now waste time, but puts our thought into effect.
CHOIR
Zeus, is sorry for our anguish or e'er that we die.
