Capitolo 11

  Words that Odysseus and that Homers have felt,--
  _I also, his/her child of Or, I reached the common decree,

  Therefore if he/she anchors around this broken vase,
  Borne by raw hands, unworthy of their load,
  Away from Cephisus and the wandering brooks,
  You grab on once there a fragrance as of things sweet,
  Of honey from the hill of desert of Hymettus,
  Picks you up the gift and it holds him/it closes and dear;
  For gifts that die living memoirs they have--
  Bawls of days of unreturning that breathe
  The spirit of one day that it never dies.




MATTER

Me, the daughter of Inachus, King of Argos was beloved of Zeus. But
Hera was jealous of that love, and from his/her sick wish Me you/he/she was given on
to make frantic, and its body took the semblance of a heifer:  and Argus, a

Called Epaphus. And from Epaphus Libia it jumped, and from Libya, Belus;
and from Belus, Aegyptus and Danaus. And the children of Aegyptus wanted
to pick up the daughters of Danaus in marriage. But the young girl held
