geography. It would be absurd to say that unless he learned the geography in
agreement with his/her methods instead of his/her results, he could have but a
flouring, and that a small knowledge is a dangerous thing. A small
knowledge of the position in New York is indeed a dangerous thing, if a
man uses him to govern a vase of Cunard through the Atlantic. But the
the absence of the flouring is a more dangerous and fatal thing if
the man desires to make business with Argentina and the Transvaal, or
to enter out practical relationships of some kind with someone his
own parish. The results of the geography are useful and precious in
them, rather separately from the methods assumed in to get them.
The same is alone with all the other sciences. There is no anything hidden
or mysterious around them. Any solo cause or impediment it exists because us
you/he/she should insist on to be ignorant of the orbits of the planets because us
not we manufacture the calculations to determine them; no reason
because we should insist on to be ignorant of the classification of plants
and animals because we don't feel there able us to embark on anatomical
researches that would justify us in to come to original conclusions
around them. I know the mass of scientific opinion you/he/she has always gone the
other way; but then scientific opinion only intends the opinion of men of
science that he is experts and of what he/she thinks the most greater part the
education had need to make experts of men, not of the education had need to

Spencer that a long time ago, in his/her book on Education, it drew out a radical
programme of education in that knowledge that is more value, this way
as any country, any university, any school in Europe has ever been still daring
enough to put in practice.
