THE LIFE OF AESOP.
The Life and History of AEsop are involved, as that of Homer, the more anymore
famous of Greek poets, in a lot of obscurity. Sardis, the capital of Lydia;
Samos, a Greek island; Mesembria, an ancient colony in Thrace; and
Cotiaeum, the principal city of a province of Phrygia they contend for the
distinction to be the country of AEsop. Even if the honor this way
asked you/he/she cannot definitely be assigned to some one of these places, still
they are generally now there some accidents accepted from studious as
done established, related to the birth, the life and death of AEsop. Him
