and balasses." Clasps and pins were used a lot in the fourteenth one
century. Them called states "ouches" often, and it was usually of jewelled
gold. One, an image of St. George was given by the Black Prince to

with a white beginner, a balas ruby on his/her shoulder, six sapphires
around him, and then six balasseses and twelve groups of pearls with
diamonds.
