AGNES VOLUNTEERS.
The Mrs. Arnold of one day, widow of the I delay notorious Sam Arnold of
this city, sat in the library of their elegant mansion on city,
conducting the daily papers.
It was shortly after breakfast, and to the moment Agnes, she adopted
daughter, entered the room. The Arnolds had never had any children,

voluntarily changed his/her name by Mary to Agnes.
