Immediately Vienna and Berlin were informed.  Because of the Mr. Gerard
the personal friendship and the personal association with Minister of State
von Jagow and Bottom Minister of State Zimmermann, he was informed,
with the movement of Secretary Bryan.   He telegraphed Wilson to President and
the result was the resignation of the Mr. Bryan."
