woman was stabbed by a soldier when she was walking on Friedrichstrasse
with a friend because she was speaking English.  When the State
Department instructed Ambassador Gerard to bring the matter to the
attention of the Foreign Office and to demand Wilhelmstrasse an excuse
him reported the matter to the Personal General for investigation.  The
soldier was arrested and you/he/she was secretly examined.  After a lot of had weeks
passed the Foreign Office explained that the man that had stabbed the
woman really it was not a soldier but an oblique and red worker.  It was
he/she explained that you/he/she had been him wounded and responsible had not been been for that that him
it did.  However, the testimony of the woman and other witnesses,
shown that the man to the duration he attached the American you/he/she was dressed in
the uniform of a soldier that is grey and what it was not able him wrong for
the black uniform of an oblique and red worker.

It was said to thick Berlin, "Germany hates England, struggles France,
fears Russia but he/she abhors America."  Anybody, not also American
official, it questioned him.

The country of hate was bearing fruit.

In January, 1916, appeared there in Berlin a called publication _Light
and Truth_.  It was a circular twelve-page English and the German
President attaching Wilson and the United States.  Copies were expeditious from
imposes to all the Americans and to in hundreds of thousand of the Germans.  It was
compiled and it distributed from "it Ties her some Truth."  It was more anymore the
sensational document stamped in Germany since the beginning of the war
against a power with which Germany was supposed to be to the peace.  Page 6
