next morning for Holland.  Every was on bridge that looks for
submarines and mines.  The channel as that day was smooth as a small
lake but the terrible anticipation that it is probable that submarineses sight the
Dutch ship made every touch of passenger that the submarine war was as indeed
as it was horrible.

On March 17, arriving to the German small city of border of
Bentheim, I met the people that were already marked for the first time
as "Huns and Barbarians" of the English and French.  Official and
however, people were not those that they had been painted to be.  Neither
it was Germany starving.  The officers and inspectors were polite and
patient and it allowed me for not only to take in Germany British
newspapers, but I posted that they painted the Germans as pirates.  Two

London.  The only thing to lose was white bread, for Germany to the
