The grey bear is a greater animal and far fiercer, that the
black bear. A pellet seems to sting rather than to mutilate him and him the wish

Carson was defenseless. He had discharged his/her rifle. The beasts were near
on him, and there were two of them. They could overcome him/it in the run. His/her fate
