PREFACE
I desire to express my deep indebtedness for the central one,
mythological idea embodied in this history, to the Mr. J.G. Frazer is admirable
and epoch-doing job, "The Gilded Branch" which contended principal that I have
him incidentally striven to popularize in my present history. I also desire
expresses my obligations in the other ways to the "Myth of the Mr. Andrew Lang, Ritual,
and Religion", the Mr. H.O. the "Naturalist of Forbes the Vagabondages", and Mr.
The "Cannibal of Julian Tommaso and Prisoners." If I have omitted to mention
some other author to whom I have been able to owe inherent suggestions, it will be
of the consolation to me to reflect that I will have afforded at least a
the opportunity for legitimate sport to the amateurs of the new and popular one
British pastime of torment-tormenting or to plagiary-chase. You/he/she can also save
critics the search of some moments if me suffered I say that, after accurate
consideration, I have been incapable to discover some moral what in
this humble account. I venture me to believe that in so illuminated an age
the majority of my readers will never fail him/it.

CHAPTER ME.
IN PACIFIC MEAN.
"Equip out I hem!"
It encircled in the ears of Felix Thurstan as the sound of a bell. He looked fixed around
him in dismay, asking himself/herself/itself that that was happened.
The first announcement that he has received some accident was that sudden acute
cries from the consort of the bo'sun. Almost before he had fully taken him in, in
all of his/her meaning, another voice more distant to stern, once more takings on to whine in
an altered form: "A lady! a lady! Someone out I hem! Skies Gran, it
be _her_! Be Miss Ellis! Miss Ellis!"
Next immediate Felix was found, he didn't know how, fighting in a wild
you clutch with the dark black water. A woman was seizing himself/herself/itself to him--seizing himself/herself/itself
for the dear life. But he could not say him/it that minute as it
all happened. He was also deafened and you/he/she was dazzled.
