The connection among Immanuel and its contemporary Provencal Kalonymos was

fertile poet that Immanuel, for, while Immanuel remained the you sole

powerful style. In his/her Purim Tractate, Kalonymos parodies the style,
logic and phraseology of the Talmud, and its job was the precursor of
an innkeeper of similar parodies.
There were many Italian writers of _Piyutim_ i.e. Synagogue hymns, but
these were mediocre about it. The elegies written in complaint for the
burning some Law and the martyrdoms bore in the various parts of Italy
