what God left men to discover for him. In the mind of Maimonides,
Moses and Aristotle occupied pedestals they side from side. In the "Strong

identical truth. His/her job, her "Guide of the Perplexed one", written in
The Arab in about the year 1190, are based, on the one hand, on the
Aristotelian System as exposed by Arabic thinkers, and, on the other
gives, on a fixed belief in Sacred writings and tradition. With a magistral hand,
Maimonides summarized the teachings of Aristotle and the doctrines of
Moses and the Rabbis. Among these two independent bodies of the truths him
