summary convenient of the six hundred and thirteen precepts in that
the duties of the Law were systematized. But on and above all this the
genius of Kalir flies aloft to poetic heights. So a lot you/he/she has been said of

to his simpler and best. The passage is taken by a hymn sung on the
seventh day of Tabernacles, the day of the great Hosannas:

    Or it gives ear to the prayer of those that you/they passionately desire thy
         salvation,
    Cheering first thee with the willows of the brook,
              And now saves us!

    Or it ransoms the vineyard that you hasts planted,
    And sweeps for this motive the extraneous one, and now saves us!
    Or concerns the alliance that you hasts sealed in us!
    Or he/she remembers for us his/her father that knew thee,
    To whom you, didsts also, make love of known thy,
              And now saves us!

    Or draws marvelously with the pure one in heart
    That providence of thy can be seen of men, and now saves us!
    Or it lifts on the hollow gates of Zion from the earth,
    You exalt the stain to that our eyes every turn,
              And now saves us!

Such hymns won for the popularity of Kalir that, it is a lot however now on the,
decadence.

Saadiah was born to Fayum (Egypt) in 892, and it died in Sura in 942. Him
