Will's Coffee-house, April 14.

This evening, the comedy called "The Country Wife"[85] acts in
Lane of Drury, for the benefit of Mrs. Bignell. [86] The part that gives
you call to the play it was finished alone. Through the whole action, her
made a very beautiful figure, and it precisely entered the nature of the
part. His/her husband in the play, is represented for being one of those
depraved that cross the vices of the city, and he/she believes when them
you think adaptation that they can get married, and establishes to their ease. His/her own knowledge of
the inequity of the age, does him/it choose a completely ignorant wife of him,
and it puts his/her safety in his/her lack of the ability as to misuse him/it. The poet,
on a lot of occasions, where the convenience of the character will admit of
it, insinuates, that is not defended there against vice but the contempt
of him:  and it has, in the natural ideas of an uncorrupted innocent, shown the
you pass gradual to ruin and the destruction that people of run of condition
in, without the help of a good education as to form their behavior.
The torment of a jealous coxcomb from which his rises really forgery
mottos and the aggravation of his/her pain, from the a lot of words in that him
he/she sees his/her innocence, ago a very pleasant and instructive satire. The
character of Horner and his sketch, are a good representation of
