From this good luck, the name of Isaac Bickerstaff earned a public
of everybody that had some taste of the intelligence and the sum of the all'ordine of the day

readers. I was not able, I confess, from very holds on the opinion of the city,
what these lucubrations were written by the same hand with the first one
you work that my name you/they were published under;  but before me lost the
share of the fame of that author, I had already found the advantage
of his/her authority to which I owe the sudden acceptance that mine works
met with in the world.

The universal one of this paper, is to show the false arts of the life,
to throw away the disguises of astuteness, the vanity and the affectation, and
you recommend a general simplicity in our suit, our dissertation and our
behaviour. Any man has a best judgment for the discovery or a more noble
spirit for the contempt of such impostures, that Your same;  what
qualities make her the most correct patron for the author of these
compositions. In the general, the sketch, performed however, you/he/she has met with this way
great success that there is now hardly an eminent name among us for
the power, the intelligence, the beauty, value or the wisdom that are not undersigned for the
encouragement of the two volumes in octavo, on a reality or mean
you carpet. [54] this is indeed a honour for which it is impossible to
expresses an appropriate gratitude;  and there is void you/he/she could be a sum
to the pleasure I take in him but the reflection that it gives me the
the most greater part of evident occasion that I can ever have, to undersign him,
