But if we come down from our aesthetical heights to the modest level of the
Biped Smith, we can see her/it Mrs. S. in a different atmosphere totally, and

face his/her husband and children comfortable and happy in them
home,--and not dreaming anything over this. You are full of simple
wisdom;  one hundred small economies her practice with foresight and
the assiduousness insistent curtains to be his/her husband and children love him
and a sample of domestic policy considers her/it. His/her husband
the affection and the affection of its children are the whole world to her;  music
and painting and poetry, the Mr. Ruskin, Phidias, Praxiteles, Hunting of Holman,
and the Mr. Whistler turns pale away in shades of shades in presence of the
indications of love that she receives from that child. And this intense
single-prepared love raises him inside its his/her own compass. You see in
that child's eyes the light that was never on sea or it disembarks, the
consecration and the dream of his/her/their mother. You brood above it up to her
effects for him in her his/her own maternal desire an apotheosis; and it rounds off his
you imagine there in his/her heart it burns a bright halo of poetry. You see
through the fat. Coarseness disappears first its abducted fixed look. There
the sky spirit stays:--

      Sweet spirit recently come from Sky
      With the whole God on thee, still
      Rays of any terrestrial light are given
      E'en of heart of Thy anchors to bless and to fill.
      Soul of Thy a sky whose sun has put,
      Uses still boast him of round that it is suspended;
      And the eve of infancy sadly burns bright
      First hath of life deepened in night.

Then with his/her/their husband;  then with the house;  a glory gathers you round off them,
what her the intense worshipper, sees alone,;  and this unaesthetic
Mrs. Smith, together unsatisfactory to the artistic eye, more
practical, more common place, brings inside her some of the Promethean
