Sixty-two Volunteers, organized and it armed from the Spaniards with
Mausers and Remingtons, from Roque of San and Caridad they put on
under my orders. For first the Americans learned some danger from

During the evening of May 20 the old Revolutionary officer
Sr. Luciano San Miguel (now a General in command of a Brigade)
come to me and he/she asked orders that were given to him to effect
the insurrection of the provinces of Manila, Lagoon, Batangas, Tayabas,
Bulakan, Morong Pampanga, Tarlak Newva Ecija and other northerner
provinces. He left the same night to perform the orders.
During the 21, 22 and 23 and subsequent days of that month of mine
head office was simply besieged by my farmers in that they poured
Cavite from all the sides to offer their services in the imminent struggle
with the Spaniards. To such extension, indeed my quarters were in the
Arsenal invaded that I found soon it necessary to mend to another
house in the city, leaving completely the place to the disposition of the
Marines Americano of what responsible was then and protecting Arsenal of Cavite.
