TRUE VERSION OF THE PHILIPPINE REVOLUTION

REPUBLIC.
I devote to you this modest job with a sight to informing her/it
I concern to the international events during which the is happened
three past years and you/he/she is still following in Philippines, in order
what you can fully know the facts and can have put with this
in a position to pronounce judgment on the problem and is satisfied
and sure of the Justice that forms the base and it is in fact the
foundation of our Cause. I respectfully put first the simple truth
and it devotes him/it to you as an action of homage and as testimony of mine
admiration for and recognition of the wide knowledge, the bright one
attainments and the great power of other nations that I greet,
in the name the Philippine nation, with every effusion of my soul.

CHAPTER ME
The Revolution of 1896
Spain maintained control of the Philippine Islands for more than three
centuries and a half during that period the tyranny, misbehavior
and the abuses of the Monks and the Civilian and Military Administration
exhausted the patience of the natives and it caused them to do a
desperate effort to shake away the irritating and unbearable joke on the
26 and 31 August, 1896 that the revolution starts in then the
provinces of Manila and Cavite.
In these memorable days the people of Balintawak, Saint Mesa, Kalookan,
Kawit, Noveleta and de in San Francisco that Malabon has color of rose against the Spaniards
and it proclaimed the independence of Philippines, and in the progress
of the next five days these insurrections were followed by the inhabitants
of the other cities in province of Cavite that connects in the revolt against
the Spanish Government even if there was no preceding setup
looking to a revolt general. The seconds had undoubtedly stirred
action from the noble example of the first one.
