Isaiah had just picked up the horse, Jonas told him/it for condurrlo

The oxen very easily drew the sleigh along. Snow was rather deep for
a small distance, and then it became this way; but it was a lot of dark color, and
it was difficult for Jonas to follow his/her footstep. Snow blew through him
with great violence, and it was full fast it on.
