Jonas on a Farm in Winter

Jacob Abbott

Capitolo 33

Jonas got in his/her sleigh.

"Franco!" says him.

Franco looked at him, then to the Mr. Edwards then to Jonas; and finally him
gone up again to the door, and it started to lick the hand of his/her old master.

Jonas turned the heads of his/her horses a small toward the road, and it transported them
on a footstep.

"Comes, Franco", it said him; "Franco, come."

Franco, feeling these words and seeing that indeed Jonas was going,
seemed to come to an ending decision. Him leaped by the footsteps, and it limited
down the road, through the gate and it jumped above in the sleigh of Jonas. Mr.
Edwards kept on calling him/it, but he paid him attention. Him
curled down in front of Jonas a moment, then he raised him on a small,
then as to look again I pour the house; but he didn't show disposition to
goes out again. Jonas appropriated his/her head, and he/she softly caressed him as
he drove away; and, when he founded that Franco you/he/she was really going with him,
him the head turned again him, and says, with a glance of the great satisfaction,--

"Good-from, gentleman. I am forced a lot to you."

"Good-from, Jonas. You takes the good care of Ney."

"Yes, gentleman", it said him, "I certainly want."

"You are a good dog, Franco" that he has continued, while caressing his/her head to come,
with dog me,--a lot of good person, Franco, to choose the common hay for a bed
under the manger of the old General, rather than that good warm carpet for the
cause to come with me. I will manufacture him a small house, Franco,--me
certainly desire, and I will put a carpet on the floor. I will do soon it as
as I find to house."

It is Jonas it did, next evening after he found to house, Franco's face a house,
only great enough for him; and he found an old piece of carpet to put
on the floor. He put Franco in; but next morning he found him/it in
his/her old place under the manger of the General. Franco liked better that place.
Truth was, it was rather more heat; and then, besides, he liked the old one
General society.
