PREFACE.
This small job, with his/her companion _Jonas Su A Farm In Summer_,
it is understood as the continuation of a series, the first two volumes
of what, the Stories_ of _Jonas and _Jonas A Judge_, have been already
published. They is all drawn ones, not only to interest and to have a good time
the juvenile reader, but to give him education, exemplifying
the principles of the honest integrity and the simple good practical sense,
in their question to the circumstances to the agenda of the infancy.

MORNING
Soon a morning in winter, while Jonas was living on the farm in the,
job of the father of Oliver, he came groping down, few before
daylight, in the great room.
The great room was, as it pointed out its name, rather great, occupying a
considerable portion of the lowest floor in the house of the grower. There was
a very spacious hearth in a side, with a chest that was a long
