KIND PUNISHMENT OF DISOBEDIENCE.

Children don't have any natural instinct of the obedience to their parents, nevertheless
they has the other instincts from he/she wants to say of what the habit of the obedience as a
acquisition, can easily be formed.

The true state of the case is illustrated well from that among which we observe the
lower animals. The hen can call his/her chickens when she has food for them, or
when some danger threatens, and they comes to her. They comes however simply,
under the impulse of a desire for food or fear of danger, not from some
instinctive desires to suit their action for the wish of their mother;  or, in
other words, without the idea of authority parental subjugation. It is this way,
substantially, with many other animals which the habits in in comparison to the
relationship among parents and descendant come to human observation under. The
colt and the calf follow and they hold near his/her mother, not from some instinct of
desires to suit their behavior for his/her wish, but only from love of
food or fear of danger. These last it is severely instinctive. They acts
spontaneously, and he/she doesn't force any training of some kind to establish or to
maintain them.

The case is substantially the same with children. They races to them mother
from instinct, when lack, fear or the pain it impels them. They doesn't ask for teaching
or training for this. But for them to simply come because them mother
wish them to come--to be checked, in the other words, from his/her wish, instead
than from their his/her own impulses, it is together a different thing. They has anybody
instinct for that. They only has a _capacity for his/her development_.


_Instincts and Capacities_.

It is able, is perhaps maintained, that there is no true difference among
instincts and ability, and certainly it is possible that they can pass
