THE DONKEY AND HIS/HER MASTERS
A Gardener had a Donkey that had very hard once of him, that that with
scarce food, heavy loads and continuous beating. The donkey therefore
Jupiter implored for getting away from the Gardener and to give ends him
to another master. Then Jupiter sent Mercury to the Gardener to offer
he sells the donkey to a Potter that he did. But the donkey was as
it displeased how come, for him it had to work firmer than before: then him
Jupiter very affably implored for the relief a second time and Jupiter
it systematized that he should be sold to a Tanner. But when the donkey saw that that
the work of its new master was, he cried in desperation, "Because it was not me I satisfy
to serve both my first masters, hard as I had to work and badly
how was I treated? for you/they would decently have buried me to them, but now me
it will enter the end to the tanning-tub."
Servants don't know a good master up to them you/he/she has served a worse.
THE PACKAGE-DONKEY, THE WILD DONKEY AND THE LEO
A Wild Donkey saw a Package-donkey that makes long jogging under a heavy load, and
blames him/it with the condition of slavery in which he lived, in these
words: What a scurvy destiny is the Your compared with mine! I am free as the
you air, and never makes a hit of job; and, as for forage, I only have to

who had anybody to protect him/it, and without more ados a meal did of
him.
