Patient. The visitor has been shown on the establishment, and you/he/she is on

"cell" of an interesting patient especially, Mr. Eustace Grey, late of
Room of Greyling. Mr. Eustace greets them as they draws near, it immediately dips
in monologue, and it reports (with occasional warnings from the doctor
against end-excitement) the sad history of his/her adversities and consequence
loss of reason. He starts with a description of his/her happier days:--

  "I think of the twenty years, you/he/she has gone
    (Flies of time, I don't know how, street),
  The sun on anybody happier shone
    Neither prouders equip, that Eustace Grey.
  Asks where you are able, and all would say,
    The men admired and they praised of everybody,
  From rich and poor, from grave and cheerful,
    It was the young gentleman of Room of Greyling.

  "Yes! I had youth and rosy health,
  It was nobly formed, as it is probable that men are;
  For illness, then of all of my wealth,
    I never gave an only tax:
  The ladies clear him, the young girl free.
    It was all they got used then to say,
  Who are able a beautiful figure sees,
    You/he/she should repute Mr. Eustace Grey.

  "My lady me--you were everybody that we love;
    Every encomium, to speak his/her value is weak;
  Its mannerses show the flexible dove,
    His/her morals, the seraphic saint:
  You never breathed neither it looked at complaint;
    Anybody equal on earth had her:
  Now, what is this equitable thing that I paint?
    Alas! as everybody that I live it will be.

  "There were two cherub-things close to,
    An attractive girl, a glorious boy;
  Even more to inflate my pride fall-without breath,
