from Mr King around going to the observatory.

"On Dec. 6 my Paper on corrections of the elements of the Solar one
Tables you/he/she was introduced to the Real Society. On Dec. 9, to 1 h. 4
meter. in the morning (Sunday morning), I reached the result of my calculations
of the new inequality. I had overcome some fluctuations of
feeling. Usually the important part of an inequality of some kind
it depends completely from the eccentricities of the orbits but it this way
happened that by the positions of the axes of the orbits, & the c., these
terms very almost destroyed each other. Later this came the
the consideration of inclinations of orbits; and here are judicious terms
what destroyed were not. I finally reached the result that the
inequality would approximately be 3"; solo such magnitude as it was in demand. ME
slipped this in the door of Whewell. This is, to the time to write
(1853), the last improvement of some importance in the Solar one
Theory. Some small remaining job followed to Dec. 14, and then,
me being completely tired I placed from the job for revision to some future
time. I added a Postscript to my Society Solar Real Paper however
Errors, notifying this result.

"On Dec. 19 that I have gone to Bury. While there I talked to Whewell that
Woodhouse was dead. I returned to Cambridge and I immediately did known
what I was a candidate for the time Professorate of vacant Plumian. Of
scientific and miscellaneous business, I find that on Oct. 13 teacher
Barlow of Woolwich prepared one note to the Board of Longitude
pertaining to his/her fluid telescope (what I had seen to Woodford), what
it was considered on Nov. 1, and I had some correspondence with him in
December. In June and August my Trigonometry was stamping.

"In January. 5, 1828 that I have come from London. It seems that I had been
really speculating 'without book' on perturbations of planetarium
elements, for in January. 17 and 18 I wrote a Paper on a supposed
error of Laplace, and only at the end I discovered that he was completely
right: I folded up on the Paper and I marked him/it 'A Lesson.' I put two
