OBSERVATORY IN CAMBRIDGE AS TEACHER OF PLUMIAN.

"In January. 30, 1823 that I am returned to Cambridge. I had already felt that
I had earned the Prize of the 1 Smith and one of the first notifications
to me on my return it was that the prize of good-behavior of the Pedestrian of _L10_
me you/he/she was given to.
"I remember that my return was not very pleasant, for our table in
room was half occupied from a set of irregular men that you/they had lost terms
and to reside rather longer was forced for receiving the
B.A. the degree. But to the duration of mine to complete the B.A. the degree (what
it is not up to of the weeks after the examination and admission) me with the
the other complete bachelors were duly guests to the table of the B.A.
studious, and that bother ended.
"The university study liberation generally left me to the liberty
to undertake my his/her own course (it omits till now as you/he/she was influenced by the
preparation for examination of friendship), and he/she left also me to the liberty
to earn more money, in the usual way with the graduates, taking
university pupils. Peacock of Mr recommended me to only take four,
what it spent me four hours every day, and for each of their self
received 20 guineas every term. My first pupils, for the Lent and
Easter terms, were Williamson (after Head Master of Westminster
School), James Parker (after Q.C. and Vice-chancellor), Bissett,
and Clinton of Caius. To these whole self I had been busy before taking mine
B.A. the degree.
"I held on classical subjects. I have a set of notes on the [Greek:
Ploutos] and [Greek: Nephelai] of Aristophanes, ended on you Damage. 15,
1823, and I started as usual my daily writing of the Latin on Feb. 8. In
mathematics that I have worked very hard to Lunar and Planetary Theories. I have
two Mrs. books of Lunar Theory to the 5 order of small quantities,
